Luna

Multidisciplinary Artist & Creative Director

b. New York

Luna is a multidisciplinary artist and creative director whose practice operates at the intersection of digital experience, tactile assemblage, and cultural narrative.

Formally trained in Fashion Illustration at the London College of Fashion (UAL) after graduating from New York’s Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, Luna developed a foundational fluency in line, composition,

and human gesture.

Her subsequent immersion into UX/UI design, product development, and trend forecasting expanded her practice into a multi-layered study of how environments, systems, and visual languages evoke connection.

Moving fluidly across digital collage, screenplay direction, and non-traditional sculpture, Luna’s work explores spatial memory, neighbourhood symbols, and emotional preservation. During a period of social distancing, she channelled the need for human intimacy into a body of digital art created in Photoshop and Illustrator, pairing layered collage with original poetry and candid interviews to capture community resilience in real time.

Her ongoing body of work, Rich Hoop Dreams, marks a return to pure play, discovery, and synthesis across physical media.

Over four years of self-directed research, Luna expanded her practice into sculpting, hand-stitched leatherworking, and structural weaving. Utilising the backboard and hoop, universal markers of neighbourhood life and collective drive, as her canvas, Luna elevates the symbols of her youth into permanent art assets. Her practice honours the grit and determination of her roots while examining art as a culture's first marker of sovereignty, leverage, and lasting legacy.

Luna lives and works between New York and Bermuda.
