MAISON BLACK is a curated online retail destination, exclusively featuring product by Black designers. I had the pleasure to assist Tori Nichel to bring to life her vision of connecting her passion for fashion and purpose to serve the Black designer community in order to create access, exposure, longevity and sustainability in the fashion industry for Black designers. I was able to accomplish this by creating the Maison Black Logo, the first runway show, 'Midtown to Motown' logo and merchandise, while also creating Maison Blacks brand guidelines, all social media content, and packaging design.
I was also able to design and work along side amazing web developers to create Maison Black’s online capsule experience. This featured seasonal groups of Black designers who showcased a range of fashion styles, from bespoke tailored suits, to evening gowns, to casual wear.
It was such a pleasure being able to be apart of an idea and use my graphic, product, and UX/UI design to bring not only a brand to life but to put on a very successful runway show.
